Exotic
Expeditions Limited is a tours and travel firm formed in November 2005, by
Janet Kanini Muiva - presenter of the award winning Kenya Television Network travel
show called 'Out & About' - the pioneer experiential tourism show on Kenyan television.
Due
to the numerous queries arising from viewers, friends and colleagues,
Janet decided to open up the tour firm. Furthermore, from her trips around
Kenya it became obvious that not many travel consultants know what
they are selling- they haven't been to the destinations- so how
much better that she could sell what she has experienced and can therefore vouch
for?
Our focus is on encouraging travellers to experience places they haven't been to yet. A lot of this website content is written as a blog based on actual trips. A lot of education needs to be
given about the positive side of Kenya and Kenyans - their beauty, mystery and value in the world's larger landscape. Too many travel decisions
are made out of ignorance. Ignorance about what other destination
there is aside from Mombasa, the local bar and Naivasha. Ignorance about
how affordable it can be to go on safaris because rates change and special offers are frequent.
It's possible for the Kenyan to enjoy his native country
and the foreigner to discover an exotic world of wildlife, culture, history, sports, beach, desert and mountain - anytime.

Not
your typical trip.
For
the travellers who have not seen the wonders of Kenya, especially
those born and bred in Kenya. Yet 90% is strange and unknown to
them.
For
unique experiences that will leave you feeling totally one with
nature.
